BIG  THANK  YOU  FOR  KEEPING  US  UP  TO  DATE  ON  TRAIL  CONDITIONS

May 26, 2017

Volunteers Vic and Kelly got their vitamin “N” (nature) and challenged the remains of Mother Nature yesterday. They were able to clear trails 1,2,3 & 4 from fallen tree and debris, trails 5 & 6 were partially cleared. Trails 7,8 & 9 were not cleared, therefore if may be difficult to maneuver. Approximately 40 trees were taken off the trails for your safety. Trails are dry with the exception of trail 9 along the road. Be careful when walking the trails as there are branches and roots still on the trails. The spring walk will be held on Sunday, May 28 at 2:00.

If you see any trees down, please email us at contact@jjcollett.com.

Please use the grid map.

May 5, 2017

Trails are starting to show signs of Spring.  Lots of flowers popping up and things are starting to turn green.  Today, I walked trail #1, #4 & #6.  Trails are fairly dry and in good shape. Lots of leafs from the winter and pods are falling on the trails.  #9 is fairly good, however, there is a lot of water between 16G & 16H on the grid map.  There is a fair amount of wet leafs and open areas are good.  I did  notice however, on trail #9, between 15F & 14N on the grid map, there area a lot of ant hills.  They are massive.  Please keep your dogs on leash as I would hate to see your dogs bit by ants while sniffing or walking through ant hills.  None of these trails had trees over trails.

Be careful and please report any problem areas.

If you see any trees down, please email us at contact@jjcollett.com.   Please use the grid map.
